When we first began working on this capsule collection it was clear that the overall theme needed to flow well when placed alongside the footwear element. Simplicity needed to be evident in the final outcome. We began mocking up illustrations of our favorite silhouettes, which lead to a total of nearly two dozen apparel and accessory pieces. From there, editing became crucial... but it was not easy.
Once the absolute best pieces were identified, the real work started. We knew that putting together a co-branded capsule with specific brands posed a number of challenges, but it would all prove to be worth it in the end.
Below is a detailed breakdown of each piece respectively. Again, each item will be available alongside the footwear during the upcoming in-store and web launches.
As always, sizes and quantities are limited throughout the collection.
> Pairs will be available IN-STORE this Friday, November 14th at 9PM EST on a first come, first serve basis.
> An exclusive online release is set for Monday, November 17th at 7PM EST inside our webstore at RISE45.com. Both Domestic and International orders will be accepted.
> All shipments will be handled via USPS Priority Service, unless noted otherwise. Shipping charges will vary depending on your specific location.
> Domestic rates typically vary between $10USD to $15USD for single pair orders. International rates range anywhere from $25USD to $45USD, depending on the exact destination & weight of your order.
> International customers may incur additional customs duties/taxes on the items purchased. These fees are not charged by RISE. Customers are responsible for all import taxes, customs and other governmental fees which may be associated with their merchandise.
RISE x Alpha Industries "Malice" MA-1 Flight Jacket
Sizes: Men’s Medium to XX-Large
In working with Alpha Industries, we crafted our own interpretation of the iconic “Eightball” jacket.
By using Alpha’s MA-1 Flight jacket as the principle silhouette, we added minimal branding and artwork which further ties into our Keys Open Doors project.
Executed using black, commercial-grade 3M reflective materials, this piece is subtle and understated in normal lighting. But, once night falls lights flash the details glow vividly.
We recommend ordering this piece one size up, as it is very fitted.
RISE x Beats By Dre "Keys Open Doors" Solo2 Headphones
Color: Hard White/Ebony
When the idea to work on a headphone first came up, we knew Beats by Dre was the move.
Simply by looking at their existing product, we decided to flip the “b” logo — which these headphones are known for — into our own Eightball-like icon.
Using Beats’ latest model, the Solo2, as our canvas was an easy call. This recently updated unit comes equipped with an all white RemoteTalk™ cable. This feature offers the user full control over their mobile device by changing songs, adjusting volume and even taking calls, simply by the touch of the wire.
This piece is the most limited within our Keys Open Doors capsule.
RISE x Starter ”Virtue” Snapback & Knit Beanie
Color: Ebony/Hard White
Snapback Price: $35USD
Knit Beanie Price: $30USD
(One size fits all, each is sold separately)
The “Virtue” Snapback comes with pins placed on the right and left sides of the RISE logo, which is executed in raised embroidery. Both the Piano and Eightball pins are fully removable, just like the pins which accompany our Saucony Grid 9000.
The “Virtue” Knit Beanie is the perfect headwear for the colder months. Designed for a snug fit, this piece is durable enough to last the test of time. Both RISE and starter logos are done in a raised embroidery as well.
RISE "Dichotomy" Long Sleeve
Color: Ebony/Hard White
Sizes: Men’s Small to XX-Large
The final entry of the Keys Open Doors collection is one of our best RISE Private Label pieces yet. The “Dichotomy” Long Sleeve is a 100% cotton garment, featuring a “Christopher Wool” inspired word art graphic at the back.
As huge fans of Contemporary American art, Mr. Wool’s stenciled and juxtaposed works are easily some of our absolute favorites.
After playing with the layout for a bit, we felt that creating our own oversized piece would make for an excellent apparel product. The final execution proves that feeling to be true.
